The jury of the Fundación ONCE Discapnet Awards for Accessible Technologies has selected 14 finalists among 67 candidatures.
The prizes will be awarded at a public ceremony on June 26 in Madrid.
In Category A, which distinguishes the best product or service based on information and communication technologies to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities, the "EVA Facial Mouse" project, from the Vodafone Foundation, has been selected. Spain.
“EVA Facial Mouse” is a free application that allows access to Android terminal functions in hands-free mode through head movements, using the front camera.
And in Category B, which recognizes the person, company, entity or organization that has stood out the most for its continuous trajectory in terms of improving ICT accessibility, among the 5 finalists is the TECSOS Foundation, in recognition of its trajectory in the development of inclusive telecare services, which began with hearing disabilities and later extended to other user profiles.
