The Orientatech project of the Fundación de Tecnologías Sociales - TECSOS has risen, along with two respective projects of the Don Bosco Foundation and Gades Technologies with the I Magtel Foundation Awards "To want to innovate for a better world".

Fundación Magtel has recognized with these awards the work of these three projects among the 48 initiatives submitted to the contest.

The call for the 3.000st Fundación Magtel Awards has been organized around three categories: social innovation, technological innovation and social and labor insertion. In each one of them a prize endowed with XNUMX euros and a commemorative distinction designed by the Cordovan architect and artist Juan Cuenca is established.

The I Magtel Foundation Award for Social Innovation has been awarded to the "Orientatech" project of the Tecsos Foundation, an organization promoted by the Spanish Red Cross and the Vodafone Spain Foundation. Through "Orientatech", Tecsos offers advice and evaluation on social technologies that promote personal autonomy, health, mobility, vision and hearing, and safety. Its objective is to contribute to transforming the lives of people in a situation of dependency, family members and caregivers through the publication of verified and compared information on the products that best suit their needs.
