Origin
The TECSOS Foundation was established in 2002 under the vision of the Spanish Red Cross and the Vodafone Foundation that new technologies could be of great use and application to the social sphere, as they were already being applied in many other sectors of society.
Mission
To address social needs and improve the living conditions of socially disadvantaged people and groups, through the application of new information and communication technologies, especially mobile technologies, and their development and use.
Vision
To be a benchmark in the development of technological use for the comprehensive care of people with or at risk of dependency, including all actors involved in it.
