Publication that includes the recommendations and strategies extracted from the TELPES research project, tested in the real environment of the homes of 20 users from different autonomous communities. In addition, a DVD in Spanish sign language.
TELPES is an initiative, whose mission is to identify the type of telecare elements needed within the group of deaf older people, verify their effectiveness for the provision of home support services, and analyze the most appropriate technologies for their development. Thus, this group could benefit from a solution adapted to their communication needs that improves their personal autonomy and their social participation.
